Creating a Task List for Groups of Inventory Targets

Task lists are collections of tasks that need to be executed with the specified groups.
If you have been using FlexNet Manager, tasks lists are a similar concept to rules and actions.
To create a task list just follow the Create Task List wizard.
After a task list is created, it can be edited from the Task Lists page.
The Tasks Lists page may contain an alert with configuration issues at the top of the list. Possible configuration issues include the following:

No groups are assigned to the task list

There are groups assigned to the task lists that do not have a beacon linked
You can always edit task list at a later stage from Task Lists page. On the Groups tab, switch between showing groups linked to the task list and showing all groups, and then add the previously created groups you need to the task list.
After task lists are created, you can also see all tasks lists related to a group when you edit a group.
Once a task list is assigned to a beacon, the beacon will obtain knowledge about the task list in almost real time. (The refresh interval is 1 minute, by default, if the beacon is operating normally and connectivity is working.) And you should be able to see list of tasks in the Rules/Task Lists section of the Beacon application.
If you need to increase the interval in which Beacon checks for tasks, use the registry key UDITaskListUpdateInterval. (Refer to the help topic, Registry Keys for Inventory Beacon.) If you cannot use the registry key to change the update interval, contact Flexera support. Flexera support can change the value for your beacons’ update interval, globally, for all your inventory tasks in Flexera One.
The beacon stores information about task lists in the ProgramData\Flexera Software\Beacon\ITVisibility folder.
