Widgets

Widgets are the components that create a dashboard to help you derive data insights. They are visualizations of individual items of data extracted from a data source and derived from software, hardware, and procurement data within IT Asset Management.
The home page of Flexera Analytics is the My Analytics Home page (Dashboards > My Analytics Home). The My Analytics Home page contains a Widget Library for the following categories of data:

Software Asset Management —Widgets to help you visualize and optimize the software asset lifecycle

Hardware Asset Management —Widgets to help you visualize and optimize the management of physical computers from the

Procurement —Widgets that provide information about the obtaining hardware and software.
Within a widget, you can change the visualization to show various views of the data. For example, some widgets provide the ability to change to a bar chart or stacked bar chart, tree maps, heat maps, tables, and more. To change the visualization, select a widget within a dashboard and click the Change visualization icon.
You must select a data source in the reporting template before building a custom report.
