Viewing Buckets

Use the following procedure to view the list of current buckets and their properties.

To view the list of current buckets:

  1. Open the Manage Buckets page (SBOM Management > Manage Buckets).
    This page shows a grid listing all currently defined buckets and displaying the following attributes and management options for each.

    ColumnDescription
    IdThe ID that SBOM Management automatically generated for the bucket at its creation.
    NameThe name of the bucket.
    TypeThe bucket type representing the entity or context containing the open-source, third-party, or commercial software components represented by the bucket’s collection of parts. (For a description of bucket types, see Creating a Bucket.)
    Has ParentThe Yes or No value indicating whether the bucket is a child bucket of another bucket.
    CreatedThe date on which the bucket was created.
    UpdatedThe date on which the bucket was last updated. If the bucket has not been updated since its creation, a hyphen (-) is displayed.

  2. (Optional) Reformat the grid to focus on the specific data you want to see. For more information, see Managing Information Grids in the SBOM Management.

  3. (Optional) In the grid, export the current page of bucket information to a comma-separated value file (.csv). See Exporting Bucket Information to a CSV File.
