Viewing Contextual Data

You can view the schema of your data source uploaded into Flexera One.

To view contextual data for your device, software, and business service data:

  1. In Flexera One, click IT Visibility > Contextual Data Mashup to open the Contextual Data Mashup page.

    On the Contextual Data Mashup page, the data source listing table displays the following columns:

    • Data Source Name—The name of the data source that is uploaded.

    • Type of Upload—The type of data that is uploaded. For device contextual data, the default upload type is device. For software contextual data, the default upload type is software. For business service contextual data, the default upload type is business service.

    • Created On—The timestamp indicating when the data source was created.

    • Created By—The user who created the data source.

    • Last Update—The timestamp indicating when the data source was last updated by the user who made the change to the data source.

    • Updated By—The user who last updated the data source.

    • Status —The upload status of the dataset. For more information, see Upload File Statuses.

  2. To view the schema of a dataset, click the Dataset Name. The Preview the Selected Dataset Schema slideout opens, listing the name and datatype of the column, indicating whether it is of the type Reference or Attribute. To close the slideout, click Close.
